5 pounds potatoes (small preferred) boil with skins on and don't cook too soft; 1 pound bacon fried to a crisp; 1 cup of sweet onions shopped; salt, pepper and sugar to taste; 1 tsp celery salt; 1/3 to 1 cup of vinegar (depend on tartness); 3/4 cup of salad oil; about 1/4 cup bacon fat from frying bacon

Cool potatoes and dice. Add oil, bacon fat, salt, pepper and sugar, vinegar, celery seeds and mix together. Taste (may need more seasoning); Add about 1/2 parsley (fresh) and crisp bacon. Mix good and serve
