4 - 6 c. Apples, diced
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Dash of salt
1/2 Lemon, freshly squeezed
1 1/2 c. Flour
1 1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Butter
1/4 c. Butter shortening or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Put diced apples in baking dish, squeeze half lemon over the top, sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.

Mix flour and sugar together. Cut in butter and shortening, until it looks like a crumble.

Top apples with crumble and bake for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
