When I first met Nancy Gembe, she immediately adopted my mom, dad and I into her family. Nancy is a business woman and gives new meaning to “juggling a career”. She never misses her grandchildren’s ballgames, a church service, or an opportunity to serve the Lord in any situation. Once you get to know Nancy, you begin to realize that God and Family are everything to her. She lives to love and serve. Her faith is strong and evident in all she does and her home is open to all who want to enter. She has had more people walk through her home than anyone I know. She is constantly hosting church parties, local activities, and doing whatever she can to encourage Christians and win the Community for Christ. She is one of the most giving people I know and when you enter her home, there is always this wonderful atmosphere of feeling like you are home not to mention there is always something cooking in the kitchen! Whether it's her delicious baked oatmeal, homemade apple sauce, or fresh pies....she always has my taste buds wanting more! Its not uncommon for her to have as many as 18 over every Sunday for lunch or an entire Church party in her back yard. She is an extraordinary person that truly lives up to the title of “GRANDMA”...
