2 lb. beef
1 lb. lamb (or veal)
1 lb. pork
Salt and pepper
1 tsp. baking soda
1 clove garlic, minced

Directions:
Directions:
1. Coarsely grind beef, lamb, and pork together. Add remaining ingredients and knead together very well. Chill overnight.

2. Using a sausage maker or rolling by hand, make rolls about 3 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. Cook over hot coals until done, turning frequently. Serve with chopped fresh onions.
