Rounded 1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. well shaken buttermilk
1/3 cup mayonise
2 tbl. finely chopped fresh basil

mince garlic and mash to a paste with salt using large knife
wisk together buttermilk,mayonise basil, and garlic pasts in a small bowl ,chill for 1 hr. for flavor
