1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
1 package of frozen stir fry peppers and onions
3 - 16 oz. cans of dark red kidney beans drained
1 - can stewed tomatoes
1 - can tomato soup
2-3 Tbl of chili powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ground meat over medium heat in frying pan or Dutch oven with peppers and onions until meat is no longer pink. Drain grease. Add cans of beans, tomatoes and tomato soup. Add chili powder to taste. Let simmer on stove about 30 minutes. If too thick you can add a little water to thin it.Serve with crackers.

I usually just put this in my crockpot and let it simmer all day. When it is in the crockpot it tends to thin out on its own. I prefer the dark red kidney beans but it can be made with pinto beans or any kind of bean you want. If you need to stretch it just add another can of beans and tomatoes and more chili powder.
