2 c cake flour
1/2 t salt
1 t vanilla
1 t salt
1 T vinegar
1/2 c butter
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c sour milk
2 sq. bitter chocolate, melted
6 oz cream cheese
3 sq. bitter chocolate

Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift and measure flour. Add salt and sift 3 times. Cream butter, add sugar gradually and beat until creamy. Add 1 egg unbeaten and beat 2 minutes. Add 2nd egg and do the same. Add vanilla, flour and sour milk making 4 additions of flour and 3 of milk. Add melted chocolate and mix well. Dissolve soda in vinegar and add to batter, beating a few seconds. Bake in layers at 375º for 25 minutes.

Frosting
6 oz of cream cheese and 3 sq. of bitter chocolate. Melt in double boiler. Add cream and powdered sugar - to consistency to spread - and amount of frosting desired.
