Personal Notes:
This recipe is from "Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book:" from the 1970's. This was my first cook book I used when the girls were babies. I double the recipe, and increase the Worcestershire sauce to 2 TB. I chop the onion instead of slicing, and I use butter instead of shortening to brown the meat. The most time is spent on cutting up the sirloin, so if it can be done earlier in preparation and placed in the fridge, the process goes much quicker (after a busy day)
The family has loved this and asks for it often for celebrations!
