1/2 t. coarse ground kosher salt
l t. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/8 t. crushed red pepper
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Twist sea salt or kosher salt over a small shallow dish. Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and crushed red pepper. Pour oil over spices and gently swirl dish to moisten and coat them. Serve as a dipping sauce with crusty artisan bread or baguette slices.

This dipping sauce can be made as needed right at the table. The amounts and ingredients can be varied according to individual preference. Coarse ground pepper can be added in lieu of crushed red pepper. More or less garlic powder may be used, or garlic salt may be substituted for the sea salt and garlic powder.
