1 1/2 c butter or marg (softened) 3/4 c sugar 1 T lemon Extract 2 3/4 c all purpose flour 1 1/2 c finely chopped almonds 14 oz package milk choc candy kisses powdered sugar 1/2 c semi-seet choc chips 1 T shortening
375 oven. In a large bowl beat butter, sugar and extract until light and fluffy. Add flour and almonds at low speed until well blended. Cover and refridge for at least one hour. Shape a tablespoon of dough around each kiss covering completely. Roll in hands to form a ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-12 mins until set and edges are lightly browned. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Combine choc and shortening in saucepan. Melt over low heat until smooth. Drizzle choc over each cookie.
