1 Cup dark brown sugar 2 t. Cinnamon
1 cup banana liquor 4 bananas (Split in half)
Flambé - A high proof liquor or rum to be ignited

Prepare as follows:
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon and pack in a measuring cup. Spread the eight split bananas out in a large pan. Place the packed sugar & cinnamon upside down in the middle of the Pan. Pour the cup of banana liquor over the sugar and bananas.
Heat on medium heat stirring the sugar, cinnamon and liquor until it is a liquid. Continue heating and stirring (to a soft boil) until bananas soften but still retain their shape. At this point the mixture is ready to "flambé" (light with a match if necessary). The dessert should be served hot from the flaming or hot pan into a bowl with a big blob of vanilla ice cream.
