Ingredients:  
1 c. butter 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. flour 1/2 c. nuts or coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, add egg, then flour, soda, vanilla and nuts. Form
into rolls, chill, slice and bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

You will want to triple this recipe. You can leave some of the dough plain
and dip the sliced cookies in a little powdered sugar/cinnamon or nutmeg
