48 Hershey Kisses
1/2 c shortening
1/3 c Reese's peanut butter
1/3 c sugar
1/3 c brown sugar
1 egg
2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Remove wrappers from kisses.

Beat shortening and peanut butter in a large bowl.

Add 1/3 c sugar and brown sugar, beat until fluffy.

Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually beat into mixture.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar.

Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. After removing from oven, immediately place Kiss into the center of cookie. Cool.
