1 chicken, cut in pieces
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 can water 1/4 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1/4 tsp. dried flaked chili peppers
1/4 tsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. chopped celery
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 lg. green pepper, cut in large pieces
1 large onion, cut in large pieces
2 ribs celery, cut in large pieces
2 tomatoes, cut in large pieces
salt & pepper to taste

Brown chicken in hot fat (about 2 or 3 tbsp.) Add tomato sauce, water, spices and chopped veggies. Cover tightly and simmer about 1/2 hour. Then add large cut veggies. Cocer and continue to simmer another 1/2 hour, or until vegetables are tender.

During the last 20 minutes you can add uncooked noodles (and extra water if necessary). Cooking the noodles with the chicken adds flavor to the noodles. Or you can serve with rice or pasta.
