1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp cinnamon 3 c. sugar 1 cup vegetable oil 4 eggs 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 can pumpkin (be sure this is not pumpkin pie mix) 2 tsp. baking soda 3 c. flour 2 tsp baking powder 3 metal 3 lb. coffee cans

Mix together nutmeg, cinnamon,sugar,salt,baking soda,powder, set aside. Mix eggs together well, add water, pumpkin. Mix well, slowly add flour, mix well as you go. Add spice mixture, mix well. Lightly grease 3 lb. cans. Pour mixture into cans, 2/3 full. Bake upright in 350º preheated oven for 1 hour. Be careful when removing from oven. Let cool. Run knife on inside of can to loosen to remove, or leave bread in can , cover with plastic lid and give to your friends.
