1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon water
*Mix like pie crust & roll out on a cookie sheet.

* Bring to a boil in a medium sauce pan. Take off the stove and gradually add:

1 cup flour (scant if not sifted). Stir in 3 eggs, one at a time, and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Thicken on stove over medium low heat, stirring constantly.
Spread on first mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.

Frosting
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon butter
enough milk to make the right consistency
Add 1 teaspoon almond extract
