1 Cup Water
3 1/2 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1 T Almond extract
1 T red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water, sugar and corn syrup in a large heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. When sugar dissolves, bring to a boil without stirring, until mixture reaches the hard-crack stage, 290º - 310º on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat. When mixture stops bubbling, stir in extract and coloring. Spread 1/4 inch thick in a greased 18"X12" jelly-roll pan. Cool for 45 minutes in refrigerator. Break into pieces.

Be careful breaking candy into pieces. If you flip the pan, it will fall out and scatter everywhere!
