1 c. shortening,
3/4 c. sugar,
3/4 c. brown sugar,
1 T. water,
1 t. vanilla,
2 eggs,
1 t. soda,
1/2 t. salt,
1 1/2 c. flour,
2 c. quick oatmeal,
2 c. butterscotch chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add water, vanilla, eggs. Add soda, salt, and flour. Add oatmeal and chips. Mix all. Bake 375º for 10 - 12 minutes.

Aunt Hattie was my great aunt on my mom's side of the family. They lived on a farm and she loved to cook big dinners for people when they came.
