4 cups prepared peaches
2 tbsp lemon juice
5 1/2 cups sugar
1 box sure-jell pectin
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Measure sugar and set aside. Stir sure-jell, lemon juice, and spices into prepared fruit in a large sauce pot. Bring to a full boil on high heat, stirring constantly, with a wooden spoon. Stir in sugar at once and return to a full rolling boil, which cannot be stirred down. Boil hard for 1 minute. Remove from heat.

Skim off foam with metal spoon. Ladle into hot sterilized jars leaving 1/2" space at top. Wipe jar rims and threads clean with a damp cloth. Cover with hot, sterile lids. Screw bands on tight. Invert for 5 minutes and then turn right side up.
