1/2 c chortening 1/2 c brown sugar 1/2 c water 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 c cocoa 1 c. Molasses 3 c flour 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon 2 eggs beaten
Mix shortening and choc. and sugar together. Add 1 cup molasses and water. Then add dry ingredients. Add 2 eggs. Stir well, refrigerate overnight. Cool and cut out cookies on a floured board. Bake at 350 for 8-10 min. Fost bottoms of cookies with confectionary sugar frosting
