3 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup soft butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 tbsp. cream (milk will substitute)
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut in butter. Add egg, cream and vanilla. Mix all together. Refrigeration after mixing makes rolling out easier. Roll out on floured cutting board. Cut out cookies.

Bake at 400º for 5-8 minutes.
