2 c. milk, scalded
3/4 c. sugar
1 T. butter + extra
1 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. dry yeast in 1/4 c. warm water
1 c. flour + enough to made sticky dough
2 eggs
2 tsp. sugar in 2 tsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast in warm water and set aside. Mix sugar, salt and 1 c. flour. Set aside. Place 1 T. butter in hot milk until melted. Add to flour mixture. Add eggs. Mix. Add flour until almost stiff. Add yeast mixture. Add flour until sticky (approximately 5 c.) Knead 10-15 mins. Butter top of dough. Rise 1 hr. Butter top. Rise again 1 hr. Pinch pieces off and place in buttered pan. Butter tops. Rise again 1 hr. Bake at 325-350º for 30-35 mins. Remove from oven and use wax paper dipped in sugar and milk paste, to rub on tops of rolls.
