"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
This is exactly how my friend Patty wrote this recipe down for me. She chopped her potatoes small and tried to keep everything about the same size as the beans. I have another version of this from my other Polish friend Maya who would add a can of mexican corn in place of the peas and ham. Both are really good!!
