1st:
1 pound dry black beans
10 cups water
1 bell pepper, chopped
Soak overnight
2nd:
2/3 cup olive oil
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic, mashed
1 bell pepper, chopped
Olive oil in mixture; sauté in frying pan
3rd:
Take out 1 cup of soaked beans and mash, add to olive oil mixture, then add remaining beans.
4th:
Mix beans with:
˝ tsp pepper
Ľ tsp oregano
1 bay leaf
2 Tbs white sugar
Cook for one hour
5th:
Add:
2 Tsp vinegar
2Tsp dry white wine
2 Tsp olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Cook low and slow (200 degrees) 2 hours or more.
Serve with white rice.
