1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4-1/4 cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars, butter, oil, eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine salt, soda, cream of tartar and flour.

Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix well. Chill dough for 1 hour. Roll dough into small balls (1" to 1-1/2"). Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten balls with fork. Sprinkle sugar on top.

Bake at 375º for 10 minutes.
