10 slices day-old bread, torn in pieces
4 cups whole milk
1 cup cream, scalded
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup raisins

Glaze:
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp. flour
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a casserole dish, place torn bread pieces. Combine milk and cream; pour over bread. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar, vanilla, spices. Stir into bread mixture. Stir in raisins and butter.

Place casserole dish in pan of water and bake at 350º for 1 hour.

Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over pudding.
