3 C flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 lb unsalted butter (room temperature)
1/4 C + 2 tbsp sugar
3 large eggs
1/3 C buttermilk
1/2 C chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and baking powder, set aside. In large bowl, beat butter until creamy. Add sugar, beat 3-5 minutes until pale and fluffy. Then add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add buttermilk and mix again. Reduce speed to low and add flour a little at a time- just until blended. Remove from mixer and fold in chocolate chips. Scoop 1/3 cup amounts onto ungreased cookie sheet about 2' apart. cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350º uncovered. Then turn down heat to 325º and bake for approximately 13 minutes more.
