Preheat a griddle.

BEAT TOGETHER:
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1/3 to 1/2 c. regular milk
2 tbsp. oil

SIFT TOGETHER (into separate bowl):
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

MIX TOGETHER THE TWO MIXTURES.

BAKE ON PREHEATED GRIDDLE ON MEDIUM LOW TO MEDIUM HEAT THAT HAS BEEN TREATED WITH 1/2 TABLESPOON MARGARINE OR BUTTER.

TURN PANCAKES WHEN BUBBLES FORM AND BEGIN TO POP.
