1 gallon sliced cucumbers
4 large onions
1 cup salt
Cover with water, let stand overnight. Drain and drop in syrup made as follows:
1 quart vinegar
1 quart sugar
2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spices
Directions:
Directions:
Let syrup boil, then drop in cucumbers and onions. Let get hot, but not boil. Seal at once.
