Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup uncooked rice
garlic
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Rub mixing bowl with garlic. Mix ground beef, rice , salt & pepper in this bowl. When all ingredients are thoroughly mixed, form slightly flattened meatballs and brown in uncovered heavy frying pan (that has a tight fitting lid). Usually there is enough fat in meat to brown meat balls. When meat balls are browned on both sides, pour off excess fat and cover with 1 can condensed tomato soup. Add enough water to cover meat and put on tight fitting lid. cook slowly until rice is thoroughly cooked, about 45 minutes, sometimes more water is needed but the soup should be simmered to a thick sauce consistency. Serve at once.
