6 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
18 caramels cut in half

Frosting:
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. caramel ice cream topping
2 oz. cream cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together frosting ingredients until smooth. Set aside.

Cookies:
Cream together cream cheese, sugars, butter, egg, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Form a ball of dough around each caramel half. Bake at 350 º for 10-14 minutes or until they look dry. Do not over-bake or caramel will ooze out. Let cool completely. Frost.
