1/2 c water

Mix all ingredients in a plastic dishwashing tub.
Activities:
Pour the slurch into your hand and let it run through your fingers. Now squeeze you hand into a fist and watch what happens. You can continue to change the consistency of the slurch by adding more water, then more cornstarch.
Leave slurch in the plastic tub for a few minutes until the surface looks smooth and feels firm to the touch.Carefully place a Matchbox car or other small toy on the surface of the slurch. Now tap the side of the tub (earthquake!) and watch as the surface cracks and liquid seeps through the cracks. What happens to the toy or car?
