2 1/2 lbs lean stew meat, cubed
4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
4 carrots
4 stalks celery, cut in chunks
2 medium onions, chopped
1-28 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1-16 oz. can cut green beans
1/2 can beef consommé
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 c. croutons
1/4 c. minute tapioca
1 T. brown sugar
Salt and pepper
1 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a 4-quart casserole. Stir gently to mix. Cover.

Bake at 250º for 6-7 hours. Remove bay leaf.

This also goes well in a crock pot. Set on high for 6 hours and low for 2 hours.
