5 egg whites- beat to foamy and add
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Beat stiff and add 1 1/2 cups sugar (1 teaspoon at a time)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 450º
Grease 9" x 13" pan heavily

Spread in pan. Put in oven and turn off heat. Don't open for at least 8 hours.

2 tablespoons lemon juice (real lemon)
6 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pint whipping cream or Rich's Whip Cream
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Cream the cheese. Add other ingredients. Spread over baked meringue. Chill 8 hours. Top with cherry or blueberry pie filling. Add 1/4 teaspoon almond extract.
