2 eggs
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper
6 pieces cubed steak
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 medium onion, chopped
1-3/4 cup half-and-half or heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:

In a low mixing bowl, combine eggs, basil, salt, pepper; set aside.

In paper or plastic bag, add flour and cornstarch; shake. Add cubed steaks; shake. Dip steaks in egg mixture; return to bag; shake. Remove from bag.

In skillet with 2 tbsp. olive oil heated until hot, add floured steaks. Cook until golden brown. Remove meat from pan. Add all other ingredients to pan; cook slowly until thickened. Pour over steaks.
