1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3 tsp baking powder
6 tsp cocoa mixed with 1/2 cup of boiling water
2-3 cups milk
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix butter,sugar, and cream well
2. Add beaten egg and mix
3. Add vanilla and milk with flour, baking powder, and salt
4. Add 6 tsp of cocoa mixed with 1/2 cup boiling water
5. Pour in a 8 or 9 inch square pan
6. Bake for 40 to 50 45 minutes at 350
