2 c. brown sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. butter
1 lg. egg, beaten
1 c. milk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir sugar into flour and mix well, well pastry blender cut in butter until mixture is like cornmeal. Measure out 1 cup of mixture and set aside. To rest of mixture, add egg, milk, soda, salt, and vanilla. Beat well. Pour into greased and floured 9X13 pan, spread with topping and bake in 350º oven for 35 minutes.
Topping:
Put 6 Heath bars in freezer, when hard, break bars with hammer (leave wrappers on while crushing). Remove crushed Heath bars from wrapper and blend broken candy with 1/2 cup broken pecans and the 1 cup of reserved crumb mixture.
