Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Add 3 to 3 1/2 cups of flour to the mixtures in order to make it stiff and easy to handle. Refrigerate for approximately 15 minutes. Flour hands in order to better handle the dough mixture. Take the dough and roll into small balls, i.e., a round ball for head, arms, legs, and body. Place the dough men on an ungreased pan. Have balls barely touching, as they spread out during baking. Bake at 350º for 13-15 minutes. Remove quickly from the pan and decorate with raisins or red hot candies. Wrap gingerbread men in plastick wrap and hand on Christmas tree to soften, then eat.
