2 c. scalded milk
2 T. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1 T. Butter
6 slices of white bread

Directions:
Directions:
Put the bread on a cookie sheet and place in oven of 350º and brown slightly (the bread should really dry out). Add cinnamon, sugar and butter to the milk and bring it just to a boil. Add bread to the liquid and serve.

This was quite a treat for our large hungry Clonts family. We toasted our bread in an old wood cook stove, so we really did not know what the temperature was. My boys nagged me to make this. The bread really has to be dried out and a little hard and crunchy.
