3 c. flour
1 c. butter
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda in 1/4 c. hot water
1 tsp. lemon or vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, butter & cream of tartar like pie crust. Beat eggs till foamy. Add sugar and beat well. Add soda water and beat & combine with flour mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour, then roll & cut out. Bake for 8 minutes at 350º.
