1 lb. ground chuck
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 can (16 oz.) refried beans
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
6 scallions, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
8 oz. taco cheese, shredded
1 cup sour cream

Directions:

Brown ground beef. Stir in 3/4 cup water and taco seasoning; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in refried beans until heated through; set aside.

In medium size bowl, mix together onions, tomatoes, sugar, garlic salt, black pepper.

In another medium size bowl, mix sour cream and 1-1/2 cups cheese.

In large clean bowl, layer 1/2 ground beef mix, then 1/2 sour cream. Repeat layer. Scatter remaining scallions and cheese to garnish. Serve.
