2 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream (2 level tsp. soda mixed in cream)
1 tsp. salt
5 c. flour

Directions:
Chill dough or leave overnight. Roll thin for cutting. Bake at 375º for 12 minutes or until light brown.
