1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and cinnamon and use to sprinkle dough. Mix as usual. Chill dough. Roll thin and cut in diamond shaped pieces and spread with egg white. Put a piece of nut in center of each cookie.

Bake in a slow oven until lightly browned.
