1/2 c. shortening (1/2 margarine)
1 c. sugar

1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream

2-2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add the egg, vanilla and sour cream.

Mix together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and nutmeg. Mix this together with other mixture.

Roll 1/4" thick and cut with a 2" cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 425º.
