6 tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
1 large eggs
3/4 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. rum flavoring or vanilla
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. raisins, optional
1/2 c. walnuts, optional
1 pie shell or pastry

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar together in medium bowl. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Add corn syrup and rum flavoring and mix well. Stir in rolled oats and mix. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350ºF for 70 mins or until set. You can substitute pecans for raisins and walnuts.
