4 C sliced rhubarb
1 1/2 C sugar
1/3 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 beaten egg
pie crust for a two crust pie

Directions:
Directions:
Add dry ingredients to rhubarb, mix well; add beaten egg; mix; put into pie crust. cover with top crust his hole cut in to vent. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake @ 425º for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350º and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until brown and juices bubble over. If using frozen rhubarb bake for 1 hour at 425º

I got this recipe from my mother-in-law and it is my favorite rhubarb pie recipe. I can't wait each spring to make a pie. My rhubarb patch is the first thing I check in the spring.
