1 can of Lesueur very young small sweet peas
1 "hunk" of butter
1 tbsp of sugar (or more depends how sweet you want them to be)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Add peas, butter and sugar to a small pan over medium heat. While it is cooking and before it boils mix the cornstarch and milk together and then add it to the peas just as they start to boil. Turn down the heat and let cook for a few mins., be careful not to let them burn.

I can also remember her telling me how to make these as she was sitting in her recliner and I am in the kitchen cooking them. Great memories!!
