1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
4 cups think sliced Vidalia or white onions
1 pound sirloin beef in 1/2" cubes
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 /2 teaspoon pepper
2 cups beef broth
4 cups cooked fettuccine
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Melt butter. Add onion. Saute till carmelized. 15 to 20 minutes. Remove. Add meat to pan. Brown. Return onion.
Mix flour, sugar, cumin, salt and pepper. Add to pan.Stir 1 minute. Add broth. Simmer 10 minutes. Heat broiler.
Place fettuccine in 4 ovenproof bowls. Divide beef mixture over pasta. Stir cheeses together and sprinkle on beef. Broil till melted. 5 minutes.
