1 1/2 cup oatmeal (regular)
2 cups white flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds (preferably salted, if not use 1/4 teaspoon salt)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Mix all dry ingredients together. Then quickly add and mix with an electric mixer:
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
6 tablespoons honey or 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil

Form into golf ball size balls and roll on floured counter as thin as possible. Sunflower seeds will flatten. Bake at 425º for about 5 minutes. Watch closely so they do not burn. Cool on wire rack. Break into pieces and store in air tight container. May freeze. If some pieces don't get crispy put on cookie sheet. Heat oven to 150-200º then turn off. Then place cookie sheet in oven. Let cool down to dry out.
