3 cans (16 oz.) sliced beets
1/3 c. distilled white vinegar
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Drain liquid from one can of beets into saucepan. Drain & discard liquid from other can of beets.

Add vinegar, sugar & bay leaf to beet liquid. Heat to boiling, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in drained beets. Cover and refrigerate until cold.
